    All J. LOWERY handbags and accessories are proudly handmade in the USA. 

  • How do I properly care for my J. LOWERY handbag?

    To maintain your handbag’s lasting beauty, avoid its contact with abrasive surfaces, water, and oils. 

    For light cleaning, regularly wipe your handbag’s surface with a soft, damp cloth. Some leather treatments and conditioners are useful; however, we recommend testing products before applying them to your entire handbag. Please reach out for access to our list of preferred products and tested restorative methods. 

    For deep cleaning, we recommend trusting your handbag to the leather care professional of your choice.

    When not using your handbag, stow it in its provided dustbag and store it in a clean, dry area that is out of direct sunlight.

  • How do I protect my J. LOWERY handbag from color transfer?

    Leather handbags of all types are potentially subject to color transfer or staining when in direct contact with certain materials, namely denim or other types of clothing with heavy pigment content, and especially if wet. 

    Light hues of leather should avoid direct contact with dark denim or bright fabrics. Dark hues of leather should avoid direct contact with light materials. All hues of leather should avoid direct contact with water, sweat, or other liquids.

    For guaranteed delivery by 12/24, please place your orders before the following dates:

    Ground
    | December 15th by 12pm.

    2-Day | December 19th by 12pm.

    Express Overnight | December 20th by 12pm.

  • When should I expect to receive my J. LOWERY order?

    General Shipping | We’re able to process and ship all domestic orders within three days of order confirmation. Upon shipment, expect delivery within five to seven business days. This pertains to general shipping & processing only, excluding holidays and sales & promotional event periods which have their own specified deadlines & policies.

  • HOLIDAY RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

    Any full-priced items purchased beginning November 27, will be eligible for an extended holiday return exchange courtesy period. These purchases will be eligible for return or exchange until the deadline of January 7, 2024.

  • SALE & PROMOTION RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

    All purchases made through sale are final. J. LOWERY does not accept returns or exchanges on bags purchased through all online sale events or any bags marked final sale specifically. Gift card purchases, bundles and Byrdie Golf Social Wear collaboration not included. Cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts. All purchases made through sale are final. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. Discounts cannot be applied to previous purchases.

STANDARD RETURN POLICY

We’ll gladly accept returns or exchanges of unused items in their original condition within 14 days of order delivery. 

Items’ ‘original condition’ includes all of their original packaging and insert pieces, attachments, hardware, and dust bag. Damaged items or items missing any original components unfortunately cannot be accepted for return or exchange.

To request a return or exchange, simply email returns@shopjlowery.com within 14 days of order delivery. Please include your full name and order number with your message, and we’ll follow up with your next steps. 

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and will be deducted from your total refund.

Preorders & Extended Shipping Windows

  • How do I know if the item I am purchasing is a preorder?

    Not sure if the bag you are shopping is preorder or not? You can always tell if you are purchasing a preorder item on both the product page and at checkout. The product will be clearly identified and shipping window repeated for assurance. We make sure you cannot miss it.

  • What is a preorder and when can I expect my bag to ship?

    When we just can’t wait any longer to get a new product in front of you we sometimes opt to let you shop the new early (hello preorder) before it has made it all the way to our fulfillment center.

    But we know the wait times have to be as short as possible when you were the first in line. So, all preorder products on shopjlowery.com will be accompanied by a shipping window. This is to ensure you have delivery expectations in mind and so we are held accountable to meet them.

    All extended shipping windows provided are estimates based on when our warehouse receives the product & allowing 1-2 business days to dispatch it to you. Once dispatched from our warehouse, we cannot account for any possible carrier delays thereafter.

    Expedited shipping is not an option for any preorder items. If you have a special request or timely need for your preorder item, email our team at hello@shopjlowery.com and we can accommodate to the best of our abilities.

Repairs

  • Does J. LOWERY have a repair policy?

    We sure do–your complete satisfaction as a cherished customer is always our first priority. We offer a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects of J. LOWERY handbags and accessories.

    What qualifies as a ‘manufacturing defect’ is evaluated case-by-case. 

    To submit an issue for review, please reach out with your full name, order number, and photos of the defective item, and we’ll advise you with next steps.

    J. LOWERY reserves the right to consider each repair claim individually and to accept only those covered by our Repair Policy.

    Should we approve your item for repair, we’ll cover the cost of shipping and repairs. In that case, please allow five to seven weeks for repairs to be made. If your item is irreparable, we’ll replace it and cover the shipping cost. 

    Please, however, note that our warranty does not cover external damage resulting from typical wear and tear (ie. water damage, scratching, scuffing, tonal variations, etc.). Find our recommendations regarding how to best protect your J. LOWERY handbag from this type of damage below.
